    Big Barn Home Center Delivery Area, Options & Pricing

    Big Barn Home Center's White-Glove Delivery:

    Our own experienced furniture professionals, open, inspect, and assemble your new furniture.
    We delivery and set-up in your home. This option is available to anyone in the purple and  yellow delivery zones.

    In-Store Pickup

    Furniture may be picked up at Big Barn Home Center, 16 New Haven Rd, Vergennes VT 05491

    Please bring tie downs, blankets, and whatever else is necessary to transport your new furniture safely. There is NO free in-home service on picked up merchandise.

    Drop-off Delivery

    You may opt for a less expensive delivery option - drop-off delivery. Our professional movers safely transport the merchandise to your home, but NOT inside. Drop-off deliveries are to your LAWN or PARKING SPACE. You are responsible for moving the merchandise into your home. This option is available to anyone in the purple and yellow delivery zones.

    Big Barn does NOT price, ship, or deliver outside of the yellow or purple zones *Excluding Direct Shipping Items*

    Deliveries made inside the yellow zone include free in-home service/warranty work for one year. NO in-home service made on deliveries outside the yellow zone.

    If you need to change your delivery day or time, please contact customer support at (802) 877-2839. We do not charge a fee to change a delivery. All orders must be paid-in-full before delivery. For any furniture that will be held at the Big Barn for longer than 30 days we ask that you provide us that information so that we can store it properly. We do not charge storage fees.

    Additional delivery fees will be assessed for re-deliveries (nobody home, doesn't fit, etc...) Big Barn does it's best to give you a two-hour delivery window. Big Barn will send out an automated reminder call 1 hour before your scheduled delivery time. Delivery times are 9-5 Monday-Friday. Big Barn does not deliver on weekends.

    GOOD TIPS: If your purchase is going up or down stairs, take care when making a selection of a larger piece of furniture (sofa, sectional, mattress, box spring). Please take measurements to avoid the hassle of re-selection and re-delivery. We highly recommend the white glove delivery option for heavier furniture.

    IMPORTANT- WINTER WEATHER NOTICE - PLEASE HAVE YOUR DRIVEWAY PLOWED, AND WALKWAY SHOVELED. WE WILL RE-DELIVER AT YOUR EXPENSE FOR AN INACCESSIBLE DRIVEWAY OR WALKWAY.

    Please do not refuse delivery because of minor damage or defects. Big Barn is committed to customer satisfaction. If damage or defect should occur, we will take care of it. Big Barn has one of the best in-home service teams in the industry. We can usually take care of the problem more quickly than the manufacturer and with less inconvenience to you. Since your satisfaction is guaranteed, please let our team show you one of the reasons why people buy at Big Barn.

    Picking Up Your Furniture

    Big Barn does not price delivery fees into any items. Picking up your furniture can be a cost-savings or may be more convenient than waiting for a scheduled delivery. Our warehouse is the upstairs of the Big Barn. There are two ramps that you can back up to in addition to two doors on the side of the building and a back door that are all used for loading and unloading. Calling ahead may save you time and provide you with some information on which access to park at.
    We will gladly help you load your furniture but take no responsibility for any damage that occurs due to transportation. Please bring furniture blankets and ratchet straps. Picked up furniture may be in a box or require assembly. Many pieces are not in cartons. Big Barn will wrap or box your merchandise upon request.

    Many items require repair and or touch-up. In most cases our team can address issues better than the factory. Contact our customer service department at (802) 877-2839 at the first sign of a damage or defect. We will do our best to help you. You are responsible for transportation to and from Big Barn for issues related to damage, missing parts, assembly or warranty work.
