Our rustic log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking and cracking. The degree of checking and cracking will vary from product to product, as well as from log to log. Checking and cracking does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. These small pin holes and knots with streaks of brown and gray simply add more character. We heat treat our logs to assure that there are no bugs or eggs left inside the logs. The uniqueness of our furniture gives it a
